As We End 2007....

This post is for me - 2007 for my sports life:

1 World Series Ring that I was there to witness
1 16-0 Football team who broke every record in the books
1 26-3 basketball team that is killing everyone
1 Jays win over Nebraska in basketball
2 Fantasy Football Championships
and well, 1 embarrassing moment on TnT that I'm trying to forget.... :)

Screw 2008! I don't want this year to end!!!!! Happy New Year....but I doubt '08 will be as happy since I'm taking the Celtics and Patriots rings for 2007! :) 3 in 1 year? We'll see.

a win over Nebraska basketball included with a World Series and an undefeated NFL season?? Wow, I guess you care more about Nebraska basketball than even any of us knew. Funny, I wouldn't think a win over a program you're 10X better than would be a big deal. I mean, Nebraska's win over Alcorn State sure won't crack my list of great things that happened in 2007.

Rivalry wins...if you were a true C's fan you'd get that...

If Creighton's program is 10X NU's program, they shouldn't be looking at Nebraska as a rival. Why not shoot for the Kansas' of the world...I'm sure they'd like to start a series with Creighton. Heck, why would Creighton even want to schedule Nebraska? That'd be like Nebraska scheduling Doane as a regular season game. No one wants a "rivalry" with a school that is 10 times worse than them. Even Creighton fans like to say Nebraska is "irrelevant"...then how can you call it a rivalry?

So a true C's fan is only around the program for a couple of years when they are good? So if Dana is stubburn and stays with his starting lineup the rest of the year and struggles will that same true C's fan still be around? Are they a C's fan Dana fan or both? What is a Bandwagon Fan? Did a true C's fan know what city Creighton was in 10 years ago? Hmm?
