Prediction: LSU

I'll take LSU to win tonight 31-21 over Ohio St. Should be a better game than last year but home field and too much speed on defense will win the Championship for The Tigers.

I'll be at the Outland Trophy Dinner on Thursday for Glenn Dorsey here in Omaha. I'm looking forward to hearing Bo Pelini speak for the first time in person. I doubt he'll do an interview but it will be fun none the less.

and Pelini announces after the game that Glen Dorsey is going to transfer to Nebraska, sit out a year and restore the Blackshirt tradition.

Oh and Creighton sucks :)....can't have a post without a Creighton/Nebraska basketball comment right?

Bill Brasky said...

Why should he do an interview with you? The amount of disrespect you show NU athletics, particularly the baskeball team and Doc Sadler, is ridiculous. You don't have to kiss anybody's butt or even like the team or the coaches, but at least you could refrain from calling them names. It's very immature and makes you look like a whiney baby. Until this changes, I hope ALL NU coaches tell you where to go when you ask for interviews.

I like all Nebraska sports...except basketball and that's because of their coach. Other than that...I have no problem with anyone associated with NU.

Well, we all know why Matt Perrault is the Lane Grindle of Creighton Basketball...it's because 590 pays his salary. And just who pays 590's salary? Creighton pays its fair share, that's for sure. See the connections? Matthew, I'm sure your pimp things you are such a good little whore.

This is why I derive the equation...

Matt Perrault = A less talented version of Lane Grindle.

Oh, and my prediction....

LSU: 24
Ohio State: 10

I think Matt is right on this one, LSU's defense is just to fast!

I can't believe there were no Creighton or Nebraska Basketball references in the blog. I agree with Brasky, no NU administrator or coach should or will give Matt the time of day, because of the amount of disrespect he shows Doc.

Sublime, I had not considered the money part of the issue. It is conflict of interest to be objective about basketball in the state of Nebraska. He distorts what Doc Sadler says. He opens his mouth about the history of Nebraska basketball when he himself wasn't around to see the successes of Nee and Cipriano. He must be afraid of the lost dollars and advertising when Sadler and Nebraska wins over a large portion of the Creighton fan base.

The success of Nee and Cipriano? Is that a joke?

Only Nebraska fans consider a program that has never won an NCAA tourney game a "success". Everyone else considers it a joke.

what a load. I wonder how many times MP has had a one on one face-to-face conservation with Doc Sadler before he decided he "didn't like him"...I'm gonna guess you could count them on one hand...in fact I'd guess you could count them on one if hand if you had 4 fingers bitten off by a shark.

MP bases his hatred of the guy off his own ability to misinterpret and read into every single statement Doc makes. But MP just COMPLETELY disregards the quotes Doc has made in the past about having a lot of respect for Dana and Creighton's program.

I can't even imagine why Matt thinks Doc owes something to Creighton or something. Newsflash: Doc Sadler didn't care about Nebraska basketball during the Barry Collier era. Doc came in and knew little about Creighton and beat them. Yeah we got our butts kicked this year, but guess what, it's still 1-1 as far as Doc is concerned. He owes Creighton's program no huge amount of respect like MP thinks they should get.

NU fans taking a simple thread about a BCS Championship and turn into something else as always. I am truly beginning to think Husker fans have inferiority complex or something it is just down right pitiful

"NU fans taking a simple thread about a BCS Championship and turn into something else as always."

hmm, seems familiar...

kind of like a radio host taking simple comments from a basketball coach and taking them out of context and turning them into hours' worth of fodder for his show...

or taking Dana Altman's words and spinning into a segment about how P'Allen Stinnett could possibly transfer...

Matt's whole show and blog is turning stuff into something it's not, why shouldn't the posters have some fun with it too.

p.s. props to Matt for getting this one right, at least the outcome of the game. pretty close on the score too. I'm excited to see Bo P's defense running around making plays next year like tonight's D was. I can't wait to see turnovers again.

I think I finally found out what is wrong with Creighton fans...

Narcissistic Fanatic Disorder

A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early fanhood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

1) Has a grandiose sense of self-importance for his or her team (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talent, expects team to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements).

2) Is preoccupied with fantasies of their teams’ unlimited success, power, brilliance, or beauty.

3) Believes that his or her team is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other fanatics of the same team.

4) Requires excessive admiration for their team.

5) Has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her teams’ expectations.

6) Is often envious of other teams or believes that other teams are envious of his or her team.

7) Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes towards their team.

8) Overreacts to criticism about their team, becoming easily angry or humiliated.

Why is there ANY reference to Creighton in here? Obsessed much?

Congrats to LSU and Bo. Total domination last night.

Aric,

It looks like you are in violation of #8, a tell-tale sign of Narcissistic Fanatic Disorder!

Just when I think a particular fanbase can't get any dumber, the NU faithful prove me wrong. It's inevitable (and sad).

Only you can take a thread about LSU and OSU football and bitch about what someone thinks about your overrated basketball coach. Then you bring in this crap that CU pays the bills at 590? Wow... it doesn't get much better than that. There should be a Bud Light "Here's to You" Salute for someone as pathetic as NU fan because it is certainly comical.

I can only imagine how long it took you to come up with this fanatic disorder. Then again, it may not have been all that difficult considering the fact that you probably just noted all of the characteristics of your obsession with all things red. You probably just started with how make it a daily point to post on a blog of a guy that you claim to absolutely hate. Seems healthy to me, keep up the good work!
