311 Didn't Disappoint

Great Show last night for hometown kids 311. My 7th time seeing them was memorable. Storms didn't bother the show and they sounded as good as the they did in the mid 90's. They went a little on the soft side with their set selection which was surprising but given the size of the crowd and how rowdy it was - it was probably a good thing. The crowd drank the place dry of 2 huge beer trucks by 9 pm :). Great night.

Great show last night! I'm still puzzled on how they could run out of beer...

Matt Seeing the at westfair must of been great, But seeing them at Sokol was Crazy. It was about seven years ago and my first time seeing them. Zebrahead was opening, and the place was packed, both upstairs and down stairs. I watched most of the show from the balcany and crowd below reminded me of wavy ocean. Pure crazyness. Hot, sweatty, smelly and smoke. To bad 311 will never play a place like sokol ever again.

When is the last time 311 has played in Omaha? The last few times they've come to the area it's been in either Council Bluffs, Sioux City, or Kansas City.

Are you going to suck 311's balls all day or are you going to cover Doc Sadler's new 4-star recruit?

Go Rays!

Out.

Westfair always run out of beer, its the event place for B-list acts.

Where do you want them to play outdoors then? There isn't a place. I don't think Snoop Dogg is B-List, or POD....311 might be past their prime but it's still a big show in Omaha. Just like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in Boston - awesome time always

Why play outdoors at all? If you don't think Snoop Dogg is B-List, then you most certainly are doing what you think your audience is doing have the time... smokin' crack!

In my opinion, more and better acts seem to be showing up at Harrah's, if you just HAVE to get outside to hear music.

311 has been playing Westfair for many years. That is always their stop when they come to the area. The last time was the concert at Memorial Park where they got 25,000 at the show.

311 is an outdoor band. They have had many big-time opening acts. They are known for their amazing concerts. They don't need to have a top 40 hit to get thousands at their shows.
