Matt, you're such a moron. You're trying to drum up controversy with NU/CU baseball. Erik Bird was having fun at the expense of his brother. Any idiot could have figured that out....oh, wait, maybe not, you sure as hell didn't figure it out.
Doesn't really matter. The Nebraska-Creighton game is just one last chance for Creighton "fans" to put on blue before football season starts.
I really wish Nebraska-Creighton would come in the form of a 3-game weekend series. Then Nebraska could show how many lightyears better they are than Creighton. Until then, we will just make sure our players are well-rested and ready to go for our weekend series.
Matt is sure quick to point out how great CU fans are when it comes to basketball while saying NEB basketball fans are "fair weather."
Hey Matt, what about baseball. The Jays got 1400 at Rosenblatt last week on a gorgeous day against Kansas State. Why don't Jay fans support baseball? Neb fans sure do.
The baseball comment is a fair point...however, baseball would be a bigger deal in Omaha if they won. Most people don't care about college baseball until the CWS....that's because there are other things to do in Omaha besides baseball. Lincoln - different story. It's great that Haymarket has tons of fans but there are a lot of factors as to why NU draws better than CU in baseball...winning is the biggest.
Matt, just got home and turned on the game and saw the "die hard" Jays fans filing out half way through the game. Fill me in, did Nebraska miss an extra point or go for two twice??

When does hockey start?
