Yes that's real. It was a text thing you can do at Yankee Stadium now with Verizon. Send whatever you want and they put it up. I wrote "Big Sports 590 Says Go Red Sox" but they didn't put that one up...only the Big Show one :)
Looks like you had similar seats to the ones I had over Labor Day weekend last year when I went home to NY for a visit and saw my Yankees against the Rays.
In the same trip back east, I was in Boston for a conference before that and had to settle for Yanks-Sox on TV. I did get to take a tour of Fenway, though, while I was there.
